Spring Student and Class Portraits


Class portraits will be taken on February 18th. Orders can be placed online or by completing the order form sent home.  

Spring individual portraits will be taken on February 19th. In order for your student’s picture to be taken, you must either complete the order form and send in with your student or pre-order online. A proof option is now offered; simply complete the order form (do not include payment) and you can then preview the photo online and finalize your order.

Yearbook Photo Submissions

It’s yearbook planning time again and your help is needed to make sure that your class/students are well represented in this year’s publication. Please consider sharing your memories of this year’s field trips, class parties and events by submitting your photos to the yearbook committee. This year we have made it easier to submit your photos by expanding your options.

– If your photos are hard copies, drop them off at the office and we will scan them in and return them to you in the next couple of days. Be sure to include the teacher/event information on the photo or envelope to insure correct yearbook placement.

– If you have a digital photo:

1. Email directly to yearbookindialanticelementary@gmail.com

2. Copy to a CD or Flash drive and drop them off at the office (your media will be returned in the following days).

3. Upload directly into our online store in Pictavo. Go to https://commpe.pictavo.com/School ID#86417. Once you have logged on, select the “Upload photos” option from the menu. When you are in the library section you will notice that there are albums created for each class. Locate the class teacher ‘s name from the list. When you are on the correct album page for your class you can chose the upload option to transfer your photos.

4. We have established an account on Google drive, where you can also upload your photos. Go to https://drive.google.com/open?id=1_4dE0IIEA0yNoqkVcWoor9UnIDB_ZQ4l and look for your teacher’s folder. Once you are on the correct folder, please add your photos.

Caution: If you scan the photo yourself or make a copy of it, the minimum resolution required for the yearbook printing is : 300dpi.

Long Doggers Spirit Day

It’s a competition! Head over to Long Doggers Indialantic for lunch, dinner or take out and make sure to turn in your receipt and info on the bottom of the attached flyer before you leave! A lucky student and teacher will be entered to win a $25 gift certificate AND we will be keeping track of the class with the most students attending spirit day and that class will win a FREE trip to Long Doggers for lunch and ice cream! Yearbook Ads

As a reminder, yearbook recognition ads are on sale now. This is a unique opportunity to send a message which will bring a smile to your student’s face over and over throughout the years as they look at their yearbooks.

In addition, recognition ads are a fundraiser for the yearbook program at our school. Through your support we can continue to produce a book students love, while keeping the cost affordable.

Our school is working with DSP, our yearbook provider, on the recognition ad program. For your convenience, there are two ways to purchase your ad:

1. Go online to https://commpe.pictavo.com (school ID#86417) to create and purchase your ad – before February 12th, 2020 – following the directions in the website. 

If you rather have our team doing the ad for you, you can email the photos and message to any of the following emails before February 19th. 




The Pictavo online service is automatically shutting down on February 19th. After that date, all ads need to be emailed to be placed in the yearbook. 

2. Order using the yellow form that was sent home with your student a couple of weeks ago. Extra forms can be obtained from the Front Office or online here.

Ad space is on a first come first serve basis, and the yearbook staff recommends you to submit your ad by February 12th. 

All of the details about the ad sizes being offered, prices and the date your ad must be received, are outlined attached in this email.

Texas Roadhouse Drive Thru Dinner – Feb 27th!

Great opportunity to have a family meal and support our school! Meals cost $35 and include 1&1/2 lbs of pulled pork, 1&1/2 lbs of chicken breast, green beans, corn and rolls. Pick-up is on Thursday, February 27th between 4:30-6:30pm at Texas Roadhouse Beachside.

Order forms due back to school by Friday, February 21st.

Daddy Daughter Dance – Glow Party!

Mark your calendars to join us for our annual Indialantic Elementary Daddy Daughter Dance on February 7th, from 6-8pm at the Eau Gallie Civic Center!! Enjoy a fun-filled night of music, dancing, photo booths and food!

Bedtime Story Night

Kindergarten through 2nd grade students – please join us for a bedtime story with cookies and milk on Thursday, January 23rd from 6-7pm in the cafeteria! Wear your favorite pajamas! We will listen to community readers and then enjoy a treat afterwards. An adult must remain with children at all times. Parents, please rsvp using the form sent home with your student last week.
