Yearbooks Are In!
If you ordered a 2022-2023 yearbook, they have been delivered to your child's teacher and they should be coming home!
IF you missed out on the initial order, no fear, there are still extra yearbooks! The cost is $30. The easiest way is to head over to buytheyearbook.com and look for Indialantic Elementary School (708166) and purchase via the website.
Alternatively, you can send in cash or check in an envelope with your child's name and teacher and YEARBOOK on the front. These can be dropped off to the PTO Treasurer's box in the front office. The yearbook staff will check all orders on Thursday afternoon and will have yearbooks in the teachers' mailboxes by Friday morning. We will do this the week of May 8th and 15th.
The last week of school we will be selling the books at pickup on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday! We will also have previous years for sale as well.

FAST Testing
This will be students' third test of the year and will show how well your student has mastered the grade level content standards, and you will be provided with information about how to access the results after testing is completed.
On May 9th and 10th Kindergarten-2 Grades will take the Renaissance Star Reading, and Star Math assessments. Each test is less than 30 minutes. Sample test items at home at https://flfast.org/resources/renaissance-star/renaissance-star.
If your student leaves campus before completing a test (e.g., for lunch, an appointment), he or she will not be allowed to return to that test. If your student does not feel well on the day of testing, it may be best for him or her to wait and be tested on a make-up day. Please remember not to schedule appointments on testing days.
Students with accommodations may be tested on an alternate date due to scheduling. The testing window is open until 5/23
Make sure your student eats a good breakfast on testing days. Free breakfast is served in the cafeteria at 7:30 a.m. on school days.
Increased Security
For increased security, the front door will be locked during school hours. With this change, if you are dropping a student off late (any time after the 8:00 bell), they must be escorted by an adult to the front office door.
Teacher Appreciation Week
Thank you for celebrating our teachers this week! The teachers enjoyed several meals provided by the PTO.
In honor of teacher appreciation week, Mrs. Pfoutz's parents created a beautiful garden area and outdoor learning space for her first grade class.
They feel truly blessed to have such an amazing and caring teacher. They wanted to give her something she can use for years to come.

WinShape Camps for Communities is coming to First Baptist of Indialantic!! Register now to join us for the SUMMER OF A LIFETIME - like recess, but better!

Galaxy Skate Night
By popular demand, we are hosting Skate Night for Indialantic students, teachers, friends, and families!
Monday, May 15 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Galaxy Skateway at 1488 Aurora Rd, Melbourne, FL 32935.
$5 for anyone who wants to come in and skate (rental included in price).
Texas Roadhouse Dine to Donate
Make it a family night, no cooking, no dishes, just enjoy the night together!
Dine in or order take out on our designated date, mention "Indialantic Elementary," and 10% of your bill will be donated to our PTO! Please request a paper receipt and put it in the box in the lobby to make sure we get credit.
As of March 2023, we already raised $622.94 this school year.
