Support the Award Winning Art Program Fundraiser

Indialantic Elementary is thrilled to team up with Original Works – the #1 art based program in the country – to offer a very special opportunity for the 20th year in a row.  Your child has created their artwork in school, using the regular art curriculum as the basis for their work of art. This program allows you to have your child’s very own artwork reproduced onto a variety of products.  You can buy gifts for everyone on your list or keep a collection through the years. Completed orders will be delivered to school before Thanksgiving Break.

Look for your child’s artwork, complete program, product and pricing information to come home Wednesday, October 11th. Additional product and program information, as well as customer testimonials, can be found at www.originalworks.com.

Orders due by Wednesday, October 18th. Checks should be made out to Indialantic Elementary.

Rubik's Cube Seminar and Cubing Club

Can you solve a 3x3 Rubik's Cube? Have you ever wanted to learn? If you are in grades 3rd through 6th, the Cubing Team will be holding a Seminar on Thursday October 12, 2023 from 2:30-3:30pm and Friday, October 13, 2023 from 1:30-2:30. Both Seminars will be in Room 17, Mrs. Foster's classroom. The first 25 students to return their permission slips prior to October 12th for each date (students may only choose ONE date to attend) will be signed up for the seminar. Permission Slips can be picked up in the Front Office and need to be returned to Mrs. Foster, Room 17.

Please note that this will be an introductory lesson to solving a 3x3 cube. At the seminar, students will be given assistance and pointers to solving a 3x3 cube and will also leave with opportunities and resources to practice on their own at home, if they wish to try out for the Indialantic Cubing Team in November 2023.

Please note that attendance at the Seminar does not solidify your spot on the Cubing Team. Since this will be a Competition Team, students will need to be able to solve a 3x3 cube to be on the team. Due to this requirement, we are having seminars and providing at home resources so students can continue to practice and learn how to solve a 3x3 cube, prior to selection of the Indialantic Team.  Once a team has been selected, practices will be twice on month on Thursdays from 2:30pm-3:30 p.m. in Room 17, Mrs. Foster’s classroom.

Clinic Donations Needed

The clinic is low again on girls and boys shorts/pants size small. Also, the school nurse would like to request donations to the clinic of snacks like granola bars (no nuts) and juice boxes. Please bring donations to the front office. Thank you so very much!!! PS - the donations of clothing and shoes from parents has been very appreciated.

Sign Up for Parent Lunch

We are excited to be offering this two days a week for the remainder of the school year.  Parents may select a day, Tuesday or Friday, to come and have lunch with their child.  Be sure to arrive a few minutes prior to your child's lunch time.  Parents must have their ID (Driver's License or other approved forms of ID and will sign in through the office.  Students will need to return to class at the regularly scheduled time.  We request parents do not check out their child on Fridays at the end of the lunch period.  Due to limited space, it is important parents sign up if they would like to come and have lunch with their child.

Parental involvement is so important to the success of Indialantic Elementary!
