Please join us for the next Texas Roadhouse Dine to Donate night from 3:00-9:00 p.m. on 11/9.

Dine in or order take out on our designated date, mention "Indialantic Elementary," and 10% of your bill will be donated to our PTO!  Please request a paper receipt and put it in the box in the lobby to make sure we get credit. Write your teacher's name on the receipt and the teacher with the most students attend wins a Dinner for Two voucher and the winning class can have free bread or brownies delivered.

Planning for the Soarin' Eagle Jog-a-thon in February 2024 has begun to take place and we are looking for a 6th grader to help us with the logo for the event.   Any 6th grader interested, please submit your design to Mrs. Reynolds by Friday, December 1st.   The emphasis for this year's fundraiser will be landscaping the music playground area, therefore consider using musical influences in your design.   The sketches will be hung up on Wed, Dec 6th at the Literacy night and voting will take place.  The winning design will be used for stickers, advertisement and on the banner of the Jog-a-thon event.   

Please do not put your name or initials on the sketch (we may add it later but for voting purposes would like to keep the design anonymous).   Any questions, please email indialanticespto@gmail.com.   

Indialantic Elementary School will be creating a “Wall of Service” that will be on display through the month of November. Chevron-shaped papers will be available for your child to use to create a tribute to their family member who is a veteran or currently serving in the military. Starting Wednesday, November 1st, students or parents may pick up a banner to decorate for their family member.

Completed banners may be turned into your child’s teacher or the front office.  Please include the military member's name and their branch of service on the front of the banner, and be sure to include your child’s TEACHER and their first and last name in order to have the banner returned.  Please do not use photos that are precious as the banners will be displayed in the hallway and the moisture cannot guarantee the return of your child’s banner.

From our friends next door: If you or anyone you know has extra Halloween candy, individually wrapped candy can be donated to Hoover Jr. High for their Hawk Store.  The Hawk Store is where students can use Hawk tickets that they received for positive behavior,  to purchase candy, dress-out passes for PE, lunch with their teacher etc.  You can drop off bags of candy in the front office. 

To help show support for the teacher's throughout the year, the PTO uses funds to purchase treats to fill up the Teacher's Lounge. Special thanks to the Yanas and Runte family for adding extra treats and organizing/decorating the room.   There will be opportunities for more registered volunteers to help in the future. PTO will have over $200 in drinks/snacks ready to be placed in the lounge on the designated day but the family signed up will be responsible for taking those items from the front office to the lounge and are welcome to add items, decor, signs etc. to show the teacher's that they are loved. 

We are excited to be offering this two days a week for the remainder of the school year.  Parents may select a day, Tuesday or Friday, to come and have lunch with their child.  Be sure to arrive a few minutes prior to your child's lunch time.  Parents must have their ID (Driver's License or other approved forms of ID and will sign in through the office.  Students will need to return to class at the regularly scheduled time.  We request parents do not check out their child on Fridays at the end of the lunch period.  Due to limited space, it is important parents sign up if they would like to come and have lunch with their child.  

Parental involvement is so important to the success of Indialantic Elementary!
