We will be accepting the first 20 forms that are returned.  Please include any allergies.   😊

We look forward to growing with you this spring!

Ms. Snider & Mrs. Moody

Youth Truth Survey

The next time parents of 5th-12th graders log into FOCUS, they will see a message asking for parent/guardian consent for the 2023-2024 Youth Truth Student Climate Survey. This survey is an important tool that helps us understand the school climate from the student's perspective. Your consent will allow your child to participate in this survey, as this is an opt-in survey.

The YouthTruth Student Survey is an opportunity for students to share feedback about their overall experiences at school. Student perceptions are linked to academic outcomes, so this type of data can be critical for school improvement.

Please contact the Indialantic administration if you should have any questions about the survey or Laura Padilla, IES Office Clerk, for information regarding your Focus account.

Thank you for taking a few minutes to give consent to the survey so that your child can take the brief online survey. Results will not be shared from individual students and responses are anonymous. Thank you!

6th Grade Tiles

Sixth graders have just completed the artwork to be part of a 6th grade Tile Wall project. Every 6th grade class is participating, and the tile will be their graduation gift to Indialantic Elementary.   Ordering information will come home this Monday. Every student tile ordered will be installed to our existing memory tile wall and will be a unique way for our departing 6th graders to display their talent. Each year the departing 6th grade class adds their personal tiles to our wall, creating one large, beautiful, colorful memory lane.  It is a great tradition we can all enjoy for years to come!

Each tile measures 4-¼” x 4-¼” with a high gloss durable finish. The cost is $20.00 per tile.  The money pays for the tile, as well as, the supplies and installation of the tiles. (This is not a fundraiser and is a voluntary activity).

**Additional tiles may be purchased for personal enjoyment, gifts etc… but the first tile will stay at school for the wall. **

The order form, along with payment and your child’s artwork, must be returned to the Art Teacher, Mrs. Reynolds, no later than Wednesday, March 13th. Checks must be made payable to: Indialantic Elementary.

Sign Up for Parent Lunch

We are excited to be offering this two days a week for the remainder of the school year.  Parents may select a day, Tuesday or Friday, to come and have lunch with their child.  Be sure to arrive a few minutes prior to your child's lunch time.  Parents must have their ID (Driver's License or other approved forms of ID and will sign in through the office.  Students will need to return to class at the regularly scheduled time.  We request parents do not check out their child on Fridays at the end of the lunch period.  Due to limited space, it is important parents sign up if they would like to come and have lunch with their child.

Parental involvement is so important to the success of Indialantic Elementary!

Treasurer's Report

We continue to work on projects to beautify the school and support teachers who ask for help.  If you're a teacher, and you need money for a special project, please fill out a Superfund Request to be considered for financial support from the PTO:

https://www.indialanticpto.com/teachers

You can see the Treasurer's Report with line by line details of the programs we have budgeted for and funded this year by clicking here

We will ask for donations to make our budget at our Jog-a-thon fundraiser in February, but we would be thrilled if you decide to donate any time.
