There are many children right here in Brevard County that don’t have enough food to eat on a consistent basis. Therefore, The Children’s Hunger Project, Brevard County’s Backpack Program, steps in to assist those in need. And they need our help!
The 5th Grade Good Citizenship Team has heard the call and is organizing a food drive to support these kids. The drive will run through November 22. The CHP has asked for specific items, and the team has assigned each grade level one of those foods.
Each week, the 5th graders will collect the food and count the number of donations per class. There will be a weekly announcement tracking our progress. The winning class will receive a tasty treat thanking them for their generosity!
Somehow we are out of boys underwear AGAIN! Any chance anyone could donate either new or gently used/clean boys underwear size S and M? Thank you!!
Indialantic Parents and PTO wanted to show our appreciation and THANKS to the Indialantic Staff by supplying drinks and snacks to the Teacher's Lounge to be enjoyed by the entire Indialantic Staff for the month of November.
Please sign up for a slot to deliver snacks and drinks to the front office on a day that works for you. If you are not sure what to get, you can pick your teacher's favorite treats and drinks from their wishlists.

We can’t wait for our students to experience the upcoming book fair on the first week of December 2024! This will be an awesome opportunity to support our school library while buying books for your home library or for gifts.
If you are already shopping for holiday gifts, please consider supporting our school media center and shopping on our online book e-fair. Please also share this link with friends and family members who may want to purchase books as well. We will have our in-school book fair when we return from the Thanksgiving break, but the book selection will be different than those online in the e-fair. Thank you so much for your support!

For the best experience: Communicate with the teacher that you're coming for lunch. Bring your ID. Be few minutes early your child’s scheduled lunch time to check in the front office. Be prepared to eat lunch at the outside picnic tables. Students will only be available for lunch during their regularly scheduled 30-minute lunch time. Students need to report back to the cafeteria before the end of their lunch period. You must always supervise your child during your time. Sign out in the front office.
Become an approved BPS volunteer by filling out a volunteer application at https://www.brevardschools.org/o/bps/page/volunteers and get fingerprinted at the school board office in Viera (renew yearly online).
