This Thursday from 12:30-4:30, there will be staff in the cafeteria to talk about school lunch, transportation, and after school programs. You can find your classroom, meet your child’s teacher, take a self-tour of the campus, and turn in any missing paperwork to complete your registration.
Once the teachers return to campus for pre-planning, they will get their class list and will contact their individual students/parents to provide information on their classes and meet/greet times. Parents will receive notification of their child's class placement via email through Focus by August 7th. Please do not call the front office to find out the name of your child's teacher as this information will not be released via phone call.
You can drop off any school supplies you have purchased to the classroom. Your teacher may have a list of more required items. Indialantic School Supplies lists by grade are here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1EJJuG59C7ueZMfZu2C8QXvuyrUMCIVdL/view.
Everyone is invited to help Dad’s Club Saturday, August 10th, 8a-12p: Campus Clean-Up. General exterior landscape maintenance and miscellaneous projects. All ages are welcome! Dad's Club will have some tools available, but please bring your own lawn tools if you can (e.g. hedge trimmers, pruning shears, loppers, shovels, weed eaters, hoe, rake, shovel, etc.).
Adult volunteers are also needed to finish painting accent walls in classrooms, office and/or STEM lab, if not yet completed. Some painting supplies will be available, but it might be a good idea to bring your own personal painting supplies (e.g. brush, rollers, drop cloth, step ladder, screw drivers, sand paper, etc.) if you can.
Your teacher will contact you to set up a meeting with your child before the first day of school.
There was a presentation at Kindergarten Orientation in the spring that you can review for more information: https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1Zy0NskomdZOizR1sKKipFjnKSvFZceSA/edit?usp=sharing&ouid=109481084930223880429&rtpof=true&sd=true
