This Saturday, August 20th, from 9-11 am, bring the family to join Dads Club, Dr. Braga, and Coach Armstrong to work with Mrs. Snyder to get her butterfly garden up and running. Mr. Armstrong will be running games for the kids in the backfield. Ice Cream will be provided by PTO funds for everyone who participates.
Please meet at the front of the school in the parking lot and bring any gardening equipment you may have (gloves, shovels etc.)

The PTO will be providing dinner for teachers from Skewers for Open House night.
All volunteers must be fingerprinted and cleared through the district office prior to being allowed to volunteer for activities during school hours. Register to volunteer by following the directions on this webpage: https://fl02201431.schoolwires.net/Page/11104. The fees for registering to volunteer are currently waived. It can take several weeks to process your application, so this is the perfect time to register so you can participate in upcoming events this school year.
If you would like to provide a treat for your child’s birthday, please ensure the following:
Items sent in must be store bought.
Easy to transport by the student, they should not be dropped off at the office
Easy to serve such as mini cupcakes or cookies
Contact your child’s teacher to discuss the procedure for their classroom.
Also, if you have 10 business days notice, you can order party food from the cafeteria to be delivered to your classroom. Just fill out the form and send it to Mrs. Delgatto at Delgatto.Melissa@brevardschools.org along with how you would like to make payment. You can use My Payments Plus if you have an account, or send in either check or cash.

Our School Resource Deputy, Matt Swartz, came to the rescue when an opossum was found in the girl's bathroom. He made sure no one was scared by the opossum until members of Wild Florida Rescue captured and relocated the opossum.

Please join us to help plan events and fundraisers for our school at meetings on the second Thursday of the month, from August to May at 3pm in the Media Center. Our next meeting is September 8th.
Kids are welcome. Bring your ID to check in at the front office, and you are welcome to join us. PTO has no membership or enrollment so all parents are welcome to support the activities and events that benefit the students and staff at Indialantic. You do not need to be a registered volunteer to attend the meetings. We welcome your ideas.
Some of our interesting projects for this year include planning school murals and the fun run.
This Summer, PTO funds were used to order class shirts, buy SSYRA Books, and Student Planners.
