Texas Roadhouse Fundraiser Night
If you pre-ordered your dinner, please remember to pick it up this Tuesday, September 20th.
If purchase food from Texas Roadhouse on Tuesday from 3pm-9pm, mention "Indialantic Elementary" and 10% of your bill will be donated back!
Lunch With Your Student on Fridays
Indialantic Elementary is excited to offer parents the opportunity to have lunch with their student on Fridays! You must sign up in advance on a sign-up genius link. Next week, the link will be located on the IE website (https://www.brevardschools.org/IndialanticES) and be available for signups starting Wednesday at 3:00 p.m. each week.
Space will be limited. We ask that you be mindful of other parents wishing to have an opportunity. Parents will eat lunch with their students on the outside picnic tables. Parents WILL NOT be allowed in the cafeteria or at any other locations except those specified during this time.
For this to be a success, there are some guidelines that must be followed:
Parents must be on time for their child’s scheduled lunch time.
Parents should communicate with their child’s teacher that they will be coming for lunch.
Parents must sign in at the front office and provide district approved identification.
Parents will be escorted to the patio area and supervised if they are not a registered volunteer.
Parents may only have lunch with their child.
Please be mindful of time, students will only be available for lunch during their regularly scheduled 30-minute lunch time.
Your child will need to report back to the cafeteria before the end of their lunch period.
Parents will need to sign out in the front office.
If you have children in different grade levels, and you wish to have lunch with them all on the same day, you will need to volunteer during your wait time, or leave and return at each student's specified lunch times.
Parents must always supervise their students during their time
Witch Way 5K
Indialantic Elementary Students! Get your running/walking shoes on and sign up to participate in the Witch Way 5K Run/Walk on October 15, 2022 at 5pm at Nance Park! There’s even a contest between Indialantic and Gemini to see who will have the most kids registered! The winning school will receive a prize! Stay after the race for the post-race celebration at Nance Park with food, drinks and candy for all racers!
So get in costume and lace up your running shoes because you don’t want to miss this event! It’s gonna be a spooky good time.

PTO Store
We inventoried the items we have in stock, and set up an online store for you to get items you want! Thank you Karen Knox for taking inventory! Stock is limited, so shop early for best selection. Shop at https://www.indialanticpto.com/store. All money received will go to Mrs. Donovan's literacy program fund.
Impact Aid Parent-Pupil Survey
Impact Aid is a Federal education program that reimburses school districts for the lost revenue and additional costs associated with the presence of nontaxable Federal property. Impact Aid can be used for any general fund purpose such as instructional materials, teacher salaries, transportation, technology, social-emotional supports or facilities. Every BPS student will receive a survey for parents & guardians to complete. Surveys will be sent home with students on Tuesday, September 20th and are due back no later than Friday, September 30th to your child’s teacher.
PTO Meeting
Thank you to everyone who attended the PTO meeting. With your help, we are going to have a great year! Some of the interesting projects PTO is working on this year include school beautification and the Jog-a-Thon. Please review the September 8th Meeting Minutes before our next meeting . If you would like to help with anything or if you see a project you would like to work on, please contact us and come to the next meeting on October 13th at 3:00 p.m. in the Media Center. We welcome your ideas.
