Spring Picture Day
This Wednesday, February 22nd, DSP will be on campus to photograph Class and Club Pictures. You will have a chance to purchase prints of the group pictures, and they will be in the yearbook.

Dine to Donate
Join us for Texas Roadhouse Dine to Donate night from 3:00-8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 21.
Make it a family night, no cooking, no dishes, just enjoy the night together!
Dine in or order take out on our designated date, mention "Indialantic Elementary," and 10% of your bill will be donated to our PTO! Please request a paper receipt and put it in the box in the lobby to make sure we get credit.

Jog-a-Thon Event Highlights
Last Friday, every student ran or walked for 30 minutes. Each class entered and exited the field through a giant inflated Eagle. Mr. Armstrong taught students to use their pedometers. Al from Long Doggers was an excellent MC. Kids had fun with their friends, and enjoyed a popsicle at the end. We’ll be sending the teachers their total and announcing the Long Doggers lunch winners next week.
The Eagle's name is “Mighty.” The name was chosen by Mrs. Faniel’s class.

Celebration Week March 6-10
Since our fundraiser was so successful, students will get to enjoy all the school wide incentives!

Chess Tournament Win!
On Saturday, February 11, members of the Indialantic Elementary Chess club competed in a chess tournament.
Our club was represented by Atlas Barone, Chance Jones and Andrew Dahl. They won 2nd place for the K-12 team division!
Atlas won first place for the K-3 division in the chess tournament.

Thanks to the success of Jog-a-thon, we will have a enough in our budget to maintain all the programs we sponsor, and have the capacity to do more!
We continue to work on projects to beautify the school and support teachers who ask for help. If you're a teacher, and you need money for a special project, please fill out a Superfund Request to be considered for financial support from the PTO:
