March is Youth Arts Month and Indialantic has some wonderful displays for all to enjoy. Congratulations to the artist who represent our school with remarkable artistic abilities!
I am thrilled to have 52 students representing Indialantic Elementary’s art program with a beautiful 3D display in the lobby of the the School Board Building (2700 Judge Fran Jameson Way). Artwork will be on display throughout the month of March. Each piece is a great example of the varied projects we do here in the Indialantic Art Room. The main entrance of the building is open from 8:00-4:30 Monday through Friday.
We will need volunteers to make the event a success. Please sign up to help here:

A huge THANKS to Kerri Haddock for coordinating the Mad Science School Assembly. The kids were entertained the whole time!
The classes who earned first place in the Jog-a-thon fundraiser enjoyed lunch at Long Doggers this week. Special thanks to Al Steiginga for all his the support and donations this year! Make sure to support this local business.
The classes who earned second place in the Jog-a-thon fundraiser enjoyed Da Chief's Island Shave Ice at school on Wednesday.
At the last minute we were notified that we were not allowed to have a dunk tank due to liability issues. Coach Armstrong came up with an alternative idea to throw water soaked balls, and everyone had a great day. Thanks again to Al from Long Doggers, and everyone else who for volunteered to be a target. Thank you to Coach Reed for setting up a great obstacle course.
We continue to work on projects to beautify the school and support teachers who ask for help. If you're a teacher, and you need money for a special project, please fill out a Superfund Request to be considered for financial support from the PTO:
