First Day of Kindergarten

7:30 a.m. Campus Opens, Free breakfast for all students

8:00 a.m. Class Starts

8:05 a.m. After you drop your Kindergartener off for their first day of school, incoming kindergarten parents are invited to join the staff and PTO for the annual Boo Hoo Breakfast in the cafeteria. Parents need to sign in at the front office to attend the meeting.  Your child starting kindergarten is a time to celebrate, and the transition can also be a time of high emotions - for both parents and kids alike! Come let us offer some solace, support and helpful information for you as you parent your child through this big event in both of your lives. New parents to the school for other grades are also welcome to come.

2:25 p.m. Dismissal

Every Friday is early dismissal at 1:15 p.m.

Order Class Shirts Now!

Order your class t-shirt  before August 21st. ABSOLUTELY NO ORDERS ACCEPTED AFTER AUGUST 21st!  Your student will want to wear their class shirt for Spirit Days, Field Trips and Jog-a-thon.  Anyone who orders shirts by 8/18 will be entered to win Indialantic Coffee.

PTO Meeting

The first PTO Meeting of the school year is this Thursday, August 17th. Meetings are the 3rd Thursday of each month at 3:00 p.m. in the Media Center.

With a student attending Indialantic Elementary, you are automatically a part of the Indialantic Parent Teacher Organization. Please come and help plan events, fundraisers, and other service projects for our school.

Bring your ID to check in at the front office, and you are welcome to join in. You do not need to be a registered volunteer to attend the meetings. Your ideas are welcome. Kids are welcome to join, but please bring a quiet activity for them.

More info about meetings and agenda is posted here: https://www.indialanticpto.com/meetings

Register to Volunteer

All volunteers must be fingerprinted and cleared through the district office prior to being allowed to volunteer for activities during school hours. Register to volunteer by following the directions on this webpage: https://fl02201431.schoolwires.net/Page/11104.  The fees for registering to volunteer are currently waived.  It  can take several weeks to process your application, so this is the perfect time to register so you can participate in upcoming events this school year.

Once you become a registered volunteer, you will have to pay $8.00 per year to maintain your status. You will get an email from donotreply@raptortech.com 60 days before your volunteer status expires.  Failure to renew your volunteer status will require you to redo the initial volunteer process; which will include the cost of fingerprinting. Please use the full name that is on your Drivers license when renewing your status:  https://www.e-billexpress.com/ebpp/BPSPayment/.

Registration Day Raffle Winner

We offered a $25 gift certificate to The Original Bizzaro as a raffle item at Registration Day. We had a scavenger hunt and folks entered their names for a chance to win. Davy Woodward won! Thank you Bizzarros for donating the gift card.

Campus Clean Up

Thank you to everyone who helped with the campus clean up! There will be another campus clean up Saturday, August 19th 8:00 a.m. - noon.

Teacher Appreciation

Special thanks to Silvana Karns for organizing meals for our teachers on Registration Day.
