Student attendance and timely arrival at school during testing is important for student success since we begin testing in the morning. Make sure your student gets a good night of sleep and eats breakfast on testing days. Please do not schedule appointments on testing days.
Your student’s results from PM2 are for informational purposes only. After testing is completed, the easiest way to access their scores is through Focus. If you are going through the mobile app, You click on More Info>Reports>Tide Family Portal. If you are going through FOCUS website on a computer, you have to click on the icon that says Florida Statewide Assessments.
As you are reviewing the scores, remember that we are looking for growth. Did they move to the next level and if not, did their scale score increase? To be meeting grade level expectations, they should have scored a 1 or higher on the PM1 and a 2 or higher on PM 2 with our final goal being a 3 on PM 3 at the end of the year. Please celebrate your student for growing, even if it was just one point on their scale score. We don't want them to stress about testing or dread the days they get to show off their learning.
For more information on the test design, please visit https://www.fldoe.org/accountability/assessments/k-12-student-assessment/best/ . If you or your student would like to interact with the online testing platform or review FAST ELA Reading and Mathematics sample items at home, sample test materials are available at https://flfast.org/families.html .
If you have any questions related to this test administration, you may contact Stephanie White at 321-723-2811 or white.stephanie@brevardschools.org. For more information about the FAST program, please visit the portal at FLFAST.org.

For the best experience: Communicate with the teacher that you're coming for lunch. Bring your ID. Be few minutes early your child’s scheduled lunch time to check in the front office. Be prepared to eat lunch at the outside picnic tables. Students will only be available for lunch during their regularly scheduled 30-minute lunch time. Students need to report back to the cafeteria before the end of their lunch period. You must always supervise your child during your time. Sign out in the front office.
All donations go directly to support teachers, students, and beautify the school. You can see the Treasurer's Report with line by line details of the programs we have budgeted for and funded this year by clicking here.
If you're a teacher, and you need money for a special project, please fill out a Superfund Request to be considered for financial support from the PTO: https://www.indialanticpto.com/teachers
We will ask for donations to make our annual budget at our Jog-a-thon fundraiser February 13-March 7th, but we would be thrilled if you decide to donate any time.
The school cafeteria offers free breakfast every morning starting at 7:30.
You can prepay for your student's lunch and treats by loading your student's account with money at https://www.brevardschools.org/o/bps/page/mypaymentsplus.
